CTET Full Form

The Full Form of CTET is the “Central Teacher Eligibility Test“. In Hindi CTET is known as “केंद्रीय शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा”.

CTET exam is conducted by CBSE. it is directed by the Central Board of Secondary education continuously conducted twice a year. The CTET qualification is fixed by the rules confined by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

Eligibility For CTET

  • To be qualified for an appointment as a primary stage teacher Candidates should pass 10+2(Inter) with a minimum of 45 per cent aggregate marks.
  • Candidates should clear graduation with a minimum of 45 per cent aggregate marks or 10+2 with at least 50 per cent aggregate marks to be qualified for an elementary stage teacher.
  • Candidates should complete the prescribed teacher training programmes/teacher education courses.
